Color calibrated to how your hair drinks. Not to your curl pattern.
Hair should not pay for color.
The premise
Curl is not what decides color.
The industry sorts hair by curl pattern. But how hair takes and holds color isn't decided by curl — it's decided by how thirstily your hair drinks moisture in, and how long it holds on to it. Two people with identical curls can need opposite products.
LeeLa Hues is one botanical color series, with care matched to how your hair drinks color rather than how it curls. Four of the five products we launch with are care, because what decides whether you keep your hair is everything around the color.
Find out how yours drinks
Put a drop of water on clean, dry hair.
Watch what it does for a few seconds. That's the whole test — no chart, no letters and numbers, no guessing which category you belong to.
It beads on top

It soaks straight in

The ritual
Prepare→Color→Restore
Most color is sold as color first, and repair afterwards, once the damage is done. LeeLa Hues is built the other way round: hair is prepared before the color goes on, and sealed after it does. The care isn't an apology for the color. It's half the product.
Why this exists
There was no box for hair like mine.
I stood in a store looking at a wall of hair color, and not one box on it was speaking to me. It was all chemistry formulated for somebody else's hair, and it left mine needing and wanting more. Even the plant-based shelf had limited options for hair like mine.
So I thought: why not make one myself, and share it with others like me.
I want everyone to find their true color on the shelf.
